Gelu Italian Ice Our food trucks offers authentic, homemade Italian Ice. We offer a sugar-free flavor, and all but one of our many flavors are 100% dairy-free.

Gelü Italian Ice is a refreshing & delicious dessert that everyone can enjoy; Gelü is gluten-free and fat-free. Developed from a 75-year-old family recipe, our homemade Italian ice is a perfect mixture of fresh fruit, water, sugar and other flavors blended into a smooth, refreshing dessert. The process, along with some special alchemy, takes those basic ingredients and makes it into a silky, sensational, sorbet-like sweet treat. We are available for hire for special events such as sporting events, concerts, fairs, festivals, family reunions, weddings, graduation parties, private functions, birthday parties, and more. Let us bring Gelü to you!

Hey everyone! It’s been a minute. Our goal is to provide a place, via social media, where you can stop by regularly to learn about our delicious products, about amazing events happening around town, and about other incredible local vendors.

As you may have noticed, there have been some pauses in posting on social media from time to time over the past 4 years. This was due, in large part, to trying to balance the ins and outs of running a small business, and caring for a loved one with a rare & incurable disease.

We are thankful for everyone who stuck with us, despite an inconsistent online presence.

Monday, August 17th was our 5 year Gelü-versary. It was also the day this loved one passed away.

They were one of our biggest cheerleaders as we brought Gelü to San Diego. They loved Gelü (especially Mango Madness) and they loved to see us doing something that brought people joy.

As we work hard to get back to providing consistent content & prompt responses to your inquiries, we just want to thank you all for your patience and support.

IT’S FELLOW FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY!!! Since a whole lotta people have New York on the mind right now, it seems only right to shine a spotlight on Born in Brooklyn.

Owner, Scott, learned how to bring top-notch east coast flavor to the west coast from his very own mother, former tri-state area caterer, Chef Leslie.

With her recipes, his skills, a great staff, and only the freshest ingredients, he has built something ridiculously good.

We’re talkin’ burgers, hero, grilled cheese, fried oreo, tots, fries, and a classic NY dog kind of good!

They say there's two types of people in the world, people born in Brooklyn and people who wish they were born in Brooklyn.

If you're one of those still just wishing, forgeddaboutit. Head to their website today for a calendar of where they will be next, or to submit a catering request. Ya won’t regret it!
