Coming soon to our menu. You’ve asked for it so now you’ve got it. We are adding brisket fries to our menu. An order consists of fries topped with our delicious tender brisket as well as cheese and drizzled with our very popular homemade mumbo sauce. As an alternative you may add our smoked pulled pork instead. Another addition to our menu will also be announced very soon. You can find us at the Screamin’ Chameleon food truck park in Universal City every Wednesday thru Saturday. You can also order from us on Uber Eats or DoorDash.

Here are a couple of announcements regarding our homemade mumbo sauce. First of all our mumbo mania merch is now for sale. T-shirts are $20. Our other announcement is that we will be entering our mumbo sauce in the HEB Quest for Texas Best contest. Top finishers will have their product placed on HEB shelves. Wish us luck!

Lara’s Smoky Mexi-Que opened up in the summer of 2022. Hard to believe we are going on 4 years now. From Cowboys Dance Hall, to New Braunfels City Hall, to Schertz youth soccer to various church festivals and neighborhoods we’ve done a lot in these 4 years. We are now pretty much settled in at the Screamin’ Chameleon Food Truck Park at 122 W. Lindbergh in Universal City. Come on by and see what Mexi-Que is all about.

A star is born. Introducing the hot sensation coming out of our food trailer. It’s Mumbo Mania! As our mumbo sauce continues to grow in popularity, it seemed only natural for us to come up with something that reflects the buzz our sauce is creating with our customers. Thus Mumbo Mania was born.
