The VFW will be open today from 3pm till close and closing time will depend on the crowd. We will have cold beer and ac to beat heat for the fireworks also we will be running a commander special today from 4-8pm come by and see what it’s all about.

Happy 250th Independence Day

We will be selling Pork burgers, Pork chops, and hotdogs during the fireworks in Uniontown on our side lot. We will start at 4pm. Come by and see us and support the VFW.

VFW Post 5488 Commander Sam Householder presented 50 year membership pins and certificates to from left Bill Butler, Butch Girten, and Bill Hite at a recent meeting.

Mr. Conner Morgan was recently presented a VFW Scholarship check. Conner is the son of Jason and Brooke Morgan and plans to major in Education, more specifically Special Education. He will be attending Henderson Community College two years followed by two years at Murray State University.

Ms. Ashlyn Hargrove recently received a VFW Scholarship check from Commander Sam Householder . She is the daughter of Terry and Stephanie Hargrove and plans to major in Healthcare Administration at Eastern Kentucky University.
