With a heavy heart I have to announce we have madeß that sad decision to close The Eagle's Nest/Sam's Restaurant/The Cast Iron Skillet. We would like to personally thank all of our dear patrons, friends, and family. All will be missed dearly. Many challenges faced us from the very start. Exceptionly high lease, a pandemic, loss of electric due to car accident, utility infrastructure project shortly after, which left us landlocked with no access to the building, and one thing after another it seemed. I would like to personally thank ever single customer, employee, etc. for your support over the years. We truely valued and appreciated each and every person who has entertained our establishment and has helped us through thick and thin. I don't won't to forget anyone but I have to shout out to some extemely important people for all that have done and exceptional efforts: #1 Nellie Brown the hardest worker, most dedicated person I have ever met. You are a gift from the Lord above. Your loyalty and dedication can not be explained, but I know. You have put everything into it and worked your tail off to make us what we were. Anyone who doesn't like you or I doesn't know what it takes working 21 hour days. Most liked Nellie, if you didn't (she had a job to perform, and that means if you didn't like her, then she was doing her JOB as my partner!) Never let that bother you Nellie Brown You did it! You didn't fail. You did a fine Job My lady. God bless you and I love you for what you did for so long. There are no words for my gratitude to your dedication, devotion, and love for our business together! Some may not agree, but then again they would be the non compliant people! You were the best Nellie Brown 🤎 hands down IlY! Going down the line and if I fsil to mention anyone please forgive me.
