In a few days I'll be closing up the restaurant for the season! As the hours wind down I am fully enjoying the love from long time guests and first timers discovering the "little shop on Hood Canal at Twanoh State Park."

Gifts of homemade treats and treasures from local gardens are pouring in. My heart is full.

All good things must come to an end... and we're officially in the final stretch of our 2026 season!

We'll be open through Sunday, September 27, and we'd love to see you before we head off for a little break and start preparing for the 2027 season.

Reservations aren't required, but are suggested for groups of 4 or more.

Come in for one more rum punch, lobster roll or order of shrimp skewers — and enjoy one last taste of summer at Posh.

Reminder that a Discover Pass or $10 day-use pass is required to enter Twanoh State Park and we are located inside the park.

One of the things I love most about running a little restaurant at a state park is that you never quite know who is going to walk through the door.

People find us from down the road, across the state, off the water, or because a friend told them, “You have to stop by.”

They order some food, we pour a few drinks, conversations get started, and before long, our little place feels less like a restaurant and more like a neighborhood gathering spot.

And we really like it that way.

Good food, warm hospitality, interesting people, and plenty of reasons to raise a glass together.

This morning's assignment: grill an entire side of Coho salmon for a private event.

Guests know us as a waterfront restaurant, but we're also helping clients host celebrations, corporate gatherings, family events, and special occasions throughout the region.

Just another great summer afternoon at Twanoh.

Friends gathered around a table, cold drinks in hand, nowhere else to be on a lazy summer afternoon, and if I'm in the shop, a few solid reggae jams playing in the background.

The beach glow-up has been fun to watch, and even more fun to experience alongside our guests. While the shoreline is getting a refresh, the things we love most about Twanoh are still here—great company, beautiful views, and a place to slow down for a while.

Grilled Coho is on deck this weekend!

I've been wanting to add salmon fillets to the menu for a while, and I'm excited to finally share this dish with you.

Our Weekend Feature is Grilled Coho Salmon with Fresh Mango Salsa — wild Coho salmon topped with a fresh blend of mango, habanero pepper, red onion, cilantro, and lime, served with rice and a front-row seat to all that's happening at Twanoh.

Twanoh is improving the shoreline. We're open and enjoying a front-row seat!

Over the past few days, we've had lots of conversations with guests about the shoreline and creek restoration project underway at the park.

The good news? The Posh Pescatarian remains open, customer parking is available, and we're looking forward to a fantastic summer on Hood Canal.

The restoration project is an important investment in the future of Twanoh, helping improve salmon habitat, restore the shoreline, and preserve this special place for generations to come.

While the beach gets a refresh, we'll be doing what we love: serving fresh seafood, handcrafted cocktails, and creating memorable experiences by the water.

We're also thrilled by the number of reservations, private parties, celebrations, and group events already on the calendar. It's a reminder that so many of our guests come for the food, hospitality, and waterfront atmosphere that make Twanoh unique.

Whether you're joining us for grilled shrimp skewers, a cocktail on the patio, dinner with friends, or your next private event, we're here and ready to welcome you.
