LIVE MUSIC this week — hard to believe we only have FOUR nights of live music left. Don’t miss out!

MONDAY, AUGUST 24 | Greg Hall | Greg Hall

ABOUT THE MUSIC
Greg Hall is a singer/songwriter based in the hills of Western Massachusetts. Born with music all around and raised by horses on a farm in another part of the Northeast, his upbringing has shaped a career playing his brand of folk/country songs across New England, touring with his own band and as a member of Ward Hayden & the Outliers. In the tradition of his favorite songwriters, Elliott Smith and Willie Nelson, his lyrics are centered on the grounded intimacy of personal moments and universal human stories.

Greg Hall’s new release, “Birds & Roses” showcases his personal approach to lyric writing in an acoustic setting. Twangville says, “The arrangements are beautifully stripped to the core, his voice and acoustic guitar in the forefront.”

LIVE MUSIC this week — feelin’ COUNTRY!

POSTPONED: Now Friday, AUGUST 21 (rain or shine) Jimmy Moreland | Jimmy Moreland

ABOUT THE MUSIC
A Midcoast musician, Jimmy performs old style country, Irish music, and original tunes. Jimmy can often be found performing aboard sailing vessels and in local venues. He blends humor and sentiment in his songwriting, and his performances fill the room with boot-tapping energy.

Jimmy grew up in Texas with the sounds of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and other outlaw heroes. His guitar went with him everywhere Uncle Sam sent him while he was in the service, from Japan to Afghanistan. Nowadays he spends his time rehabilitating his 1830’s home in beautiful midcoast Maine. You’ll hear songs you know and love, performed with the enthusiasm they deserve.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 20 | Jay Bragg | JAY BRAGG

ABOUT THE MUSIC
Watch Jay Bragg play five instruments at once—guitar, bass drum, tambourine, harmonica, and kazoo—while singing and telling stories from his 22 years as a professional musician. This one-man band show mixes Nashville country, classic American standards, blues, folk, and fun novelty songs that trace his wild journey through music. From honky-tonks to concert halls, sidewalk busking to touring with country legends, Bragg’s stories and songs prove that the most interesting musical careers don’t follow a straight line.

As a third-generation entertainer, Bragg carries 100 years of family showmanship in his DNA—and it shows. His technical coordination is mesmerizing (seriously, how does one person keep that much rhythm going?), but it’s his natural storytelling and obvious love for American musical traditions that make this show special. Whether you’re there for the jaw-dropping one-man-band coordination, the great songs you know and love, or the between-song stories that make you laugh, you’ll leave understanding why live music and real showmanship never go out of style. Perfect for a summer evening with good food, good drinks, and great entertainment.

Lychee Margaritas & pretending there aren’t black clouds overhead because STEPHANIE RYANN!!! 💁🏼‍♀️

There seems to be a passing storm that won’t rain on our parade! ………. ⬇️

Ok so, this was the caption I was in the middle of writing when grape sized hail started pounding down all around us like shrapnel (swipe for the receipts). The show will go on, but STEPHANIE RYANN it will be playing inside while the ice melts. Stay safe out there!
