We're going to be closed today while we finish a few trailer upgrades that took a little longer than expected.

The good news... these upgrades are going to make visiting us even easier!

💳 Card payments are coming to Funky Freeze.
📱 We're also adding a dedicated business phone so you'll have a direct way to reach us for bookings, questions, and event requests.

We're excited to get everything wrapped up and appreciate everyone's patience while we make a good thing even better.

We'll be back serving shaved ice soon... and we can't wait to show off the improvements! 🍧💙

Now Hiring: Assistant Manager

Funky Freeze is looking for someone who wants to help build something—not just work another job.

We're searching for a dependable, motivated individual who enjoys taking initiative and helping a growing local business continue to expand.

Responsibilities may include:

- Customer service and trailer operations
- Creating and scheduling social media content
- Booking and coordinating community events
- Inventory management and organization
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Assisting with scheduling and daily operations
- Helping develop new products and improve our business

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, personable, and comfortable solving problems without constant supervision. Small business experience, marketing, or event planning experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as important.

Pay is negotiable for the right person, based on experience and the level of responsibility you're willing to take on.

This position has the potential to grow as Funky Freeze continues to grow.

We made the FRONT PAGE! 🧊📰

This might not be the clearest picture in the world, but we were too excited not to share it!

Seeing Funky Freeze on the front page of The Messenger is a pretty neat milestone for our little shaved ice trailer. We know newspapers aren't what they were years ago, but being featured on the front page of our hometown paper still feels like an honor.

Huge thanks to everyone who's stopped by for a shaved ice, invited us to an event, shared a post, or told a friend about us. Every smile, every share, and every visit has helped us grow into something our community is proud of.

Here's to making memories, serving up smiles, and hopefully making a few more front pages along the way. ❤️🍧
