We have such an amazing community! While unfortunately I don't get a post done every time we get one of these, we are so incredibly proud and appreciative of our Police force. We are grateful for taking the time and keeping an eye on not only our business, but all of our local businesses and residents. I imagine most often they do not get the praise and recognition they deserve, but you are seen, and you all are appreciated!

4th Annual Dog Dash Returns to UT Martin 🐾

Tiny Baker WILL BE THERE TOO! COME SEE US AND SUPPORT AND INCREDIBLE CAUSE!!

The 4th Annual Dog Dash is coming to the UT Martin campus Saturday, Oct. 24, bringing together dogs, families, runners and Jeep enthusiasts while raising money to help local shelter animals.
The event begins at 9 a.m. with a 5K and 1-mile walk/run. Dogs and families are welcome to participate. At 10 a.m., the Dog Dash Dog Show will give local pups a chance to compete and show off for the crowd, followed by Jeep Show judging at 11 a.m.

Dog Dash began as a fundraising idea from Elizabeth Butler, then-president of Psi Chi at UT Martin. Following the sudden death of shelter director Tabi Essary, who founded her shelter to rescue abandoned dogs, the event became a way to honor her memory and continue her commitment to helping animals. Proceeds now support local animal shelters throughout the area.

Food and drinks will also be available from Sly Fox, Summer’s Sweets and Treats and Eaton’s Hot Diggity Dogs, along with a bake sale.

This year’s festivities also include a Cash Cube, giving participants a chance to step inside and grab as much cash as possible.
The 4th Annual Dog Dash Online Auction will help kick off the fundraising ahead of the Oct. 24 event. New donated items will be added throughout the auction, giving supporters several opportunities to bid while helping shelter dogs in need.
