when someone asks to make today blue macs with white pearls last minute, we don’t wanna disappoint - we make it happen. 🙃
I’m glad I was able to squeeze these pretty blues in my schedule despite my hectic weekend schedule..and yes, the pearls were applied by hand, one by one. 🦋.

about last week’s locally grown [farmers market] themed baby shower I was grateful to be a part of. 🥹 .
this was such a unique and fun theme! you’ll see the inspiration, the colors + the whole cute and fun set up! .
the mom to be requested for black sesame, strawberry, mango, & ube as flavors, and ofc ya girl gladly obliged. 🙃.

this week was a very hectic week..had to bake back to back to back and I had to spread out making the shells throughout the week, on top of errands, work, picking up and drop off..but we managed. The kitchen is a big mess, but we delivered. 😌.

Can you believe holidays is literally just around the corner? In 74 days, it would be Christmas Day. 🎄 2020 really just went by that quick, and the year is almost over.
Are you the kind who goes to the store to buy something for your friends and family? Or are you the kind who has to have something homemade? This were a few of the stuff I put together for my friends last holidays. Something simple, but a box of my homemade macarons, + tea 🍵 and face masks 🧖🏻‍♀️, a travel size perfume, + with some chocolates🍫. Nothing beats a gift with something homemade - your own personal touch. IMO, it kicks it up a notch. .

when these finicky little things cooperate and you have consistent [beautiful] feet. 💜.
one reason why they’re priced the way they are, is because despite the only few ingredients you need to make them, the amount of folds, humidity, temperature and a few other factors play a big role on how they’re gonna turn out. Sometimes they crack, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they’re smooth, sometimes they’re not. A number of times they’re in perfect round shape, and sometimes they’re lopsided. The most I struggle with, is the inconsistency of how pretty and tall their feet is going to be. So when they come out all pretty like this, I take pics. Some days, you just get them . And it’s totally okay! One thing I’ve learned making these babies is how many different options you have to make them. You can airbrush them, draw on them, turn them into cute characters - which btw, I’ve learned to accept that I have a hard time doing - always. 😭😆 In the end, it’s the uniqueness and the way each baker gets to express their creativity, making these! .

I don’t think I’ve ever uploaded that one time I attempted to make these dino macarons 🦕🦖 for my godson. they are pretty basic character macs, and these aren’t perfect, but I still think they’re pretty decent looking, regardless right? as long as they kind of look like dinosaurs, then I’m happy with it. 🙃.
I always reiterate how amazing bakers who does character macs are, and that I give them so much props, bc character macs are no joke! the details are so intricate, and it’s so hard to make the look so precise, especially if you’re pretty OC like me. 😂😂 my standards are pretty high in general, so therefore, I’ve come to the conclusion that I will stick to basic and airbrushed macs, rather than making character ones. I may make exceptions every now and then, but only if they’re pretty easy. 😆 🦕🦖💚
