Trick-or-treating in Downtown Union City is a tradition that has been around for generations. Many of us remember walking these same sidewalks as kids, and we absolutely want to keep that tradition going.
But if you’ve been downtown on Halloween, you also know just how BIG it has become! Our downtown businesses and building owners welcome an incredible number of families through the district, and this year we’d love to bring in a little extra community help, while making the experience even better for our kids.
Main Street Union City is looking for local churches, nonprofits, civic groups, organizations and community partners interested in setting up a trunk-or-treat space downtown alongside our traditional storefront trick-or-treating on Friday, October 30th.
The goal is simple: more places to trick-or-treat, more community involvement, and a little less pressure on individual storefronts as hundreds of children make their way through downtown.
🍬 Businesses can continue handing out candy from their storefronts.
🚗 Participating groups can decorate a vehicle and hand out treats downtown.
🎃 Together, we can create one big community Halloween experience!
If your church, nonprofit or organization would be interested in participating, use the link below to help.
Let’s keep a longtime Union City tradition alive and make it something the whole community helps create. 🧡
