What a great catering event! We had the pleasure of putting together a beautiful spread featuring salmon with lemon and herbs, truffle roasted potatoes, roasted asparagus, stuffed poblano peppers with avocado sauce, and a handcrafted charcuterie board. Each dish was prepared with fresh ingredients and attention to detail, creating a menu that was both beautiful and full of flavor. We were also proud to feature fresh bread fromGrayfloyd Cottage, adding a special local touch to the event.

This past Saturday, Stashed Kitchen had the pleasure of catering a beautiful event!

We created a 6-foot-long charcuterie table filled with meats, cheeses, fruits, crackers, and the lunches our clients requested. On the right, we added a 4-foot dessert table filled with sweet treats to finish everything off.

We also provide plates, silverware, and everything needed for serving, so you can focus on enjoying your event.

Whether you’re planning lunch, dinner, a wedding, shower, celebration, or any special occasion, we can create a spread to fit your needs.

Pricing depends on the number of guests, and we always plan for a few extra people to make sure you’re covered!

A huge thank you to Stroll Cascades for inviting Stashed Kitchen out to cater your archery event! 🏹

We had a wonderful time serving guests from our booth and sharing a selection of handcrafted finger foods, including our signature jalapeño poppers, fresh pico bites, and classic bruschetta. Events like these are why we love what we do—bringing people together through great food.

Welsh Rabbit is one of those classic dishes with a story as rich as its flavor. Despite the name, there’s no rabbit at all! It’s made with toasted bread topped with a rich, creamy cheese sauce and baked until golden and bubbling.

The name dates back to the 1700s and is widely believed to have originated as a joke by the English, poking fun at the Welsh by implying that cheese on toast was the closest thing they could afford to rabbit. While historians debate the exact origin, the name has remained, and what started as a mocking nickname eventually became the official name of a beloved comfort food enjoyed around the world.

History has a funny way of turning an insult into a tradition—and we’re happy it did.

🌸 Did you know? Every almond starts as a beautiful blossom in early spring, usually between late February and March. Once the blossoms fall, tiny fuzzy green almonds begin to grow through the spring and summer—that’s the stage they’re in right now! By mid-October, the hulls dry and split open, letting us know it’s time to harvest.
