Our hearts and our tables were full!

Thank you to everyone who came out for "Together at the Table" in support of Officer Josiah and his family.

Every reservation, every walk-in, every dinner shared and every gesture of support means more than you know. Seeing our community come together around one of our own is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when we simply show up for each other.

Thank you, East Texas, for showing up. ❤️

And we’re not finished yet. "Together at the Table" continues every Tuesday throughout October.

Today we celebrate Chef Carlos! 🎉

An amazing husband, dad, family man, and the creative force behind Villa Montez, 1836 Texas Kitchen, and HUMO.

Chef Carlos is usually behind the scenes, creating, planning, cooking, and bringing ideas to life. His work goes far beyond the kitchen. It’s about creating the complete guest experience, from welcoming you for a beautiful dinner at one of our restaurants to helping bring some of East Texas’ largest dining experiences to life.

Over the years, that commitment has also meant giving back to the community that has supported our family and restaurants. Through countless local events, fundraisers, partnerships, and causes close to our hearts, Chef Carlos has always believed that being part of this community means showing up for it, too.

Happy Birthday, Chef Carlos! Here’s to celebrating you, all that you’ve helped create, and the impact you continue to make both at the table and throughout our community. 🥂🎂

Happy Birthday, Mundo! 🎉 Today we celebrate the man behind so many roles, a loving dad, devoted family man, true friend, and someone with a tremendous heart for his community.

Your generosity, hard work, and genuine care for people have left a mark throughout the years. Along the way, you’ve built meaningful relationships, supported countless causes, and made a difference in the lives of so many.

May this next year bring you good health and return to you some of the goodness you’ve given so freely. May you always be reminded of just how loved, respected, and appreciated you truly are. Cheers to you, Mundo, and to a beautiful and blessed year ahead! 🥂❤️
