Friday-Fresh Lake Perch, Pike, Cod, Smelt, Coconut Shrimp, Regular Shrimp, and Mock Lobster
Saturday-Baked Chicken or Ham with Dressing
(All plate lunches are served with choice of potato, veggies or coleslaw, and bread. CARRY OUTS ARE WELCOMED)

Also, we always have four homemade soups (chicken noodle, chili, veggie beef, and split pea with ham).

I think we fed everyone in Manitowoc County (AND CHICAGO), at least twice, in the last 4 days. 🙂‍↔️🫨 Holy crap!!!! Business has been absolutely nuts. Most days we couldn't get to the phone and we apologize!!!! The support has been overwhelming and so amazing all at the same time. Today is our last day!?!? Never thought I would say that.....but it's actually happening! 🥺🥺 Tonight we hope to stay open until 7 pm but we have been running out of food so nothing is promised at this point. 💛 A Bittersweet Decision 💛

After 51 wonderful years, I’ve decided it’s time to hang up my soup ladle and spatula, and RETIRE!!!! Our last official day of business will be Wednesday, October 15th.

This diner has been so much more than just a job — it’s been a place to laugh, share stories, and make lifelong friends. These valued relationships have created an extended family for me and my staff. I’m so grateful for every customer who’s been part of this wild ride and have made this journey absolutely unforgettable. When I walked into this place at age 16, I never imagined this would be my pride and joy for the next five decades. I would not be here today if it wasn't for the love and support of all of you and the community as a whole.

Please stop by this weekend or early next week so you can enjoy your favorite menu items and then we can say our “see you laters.” 💛

If everything works out as planned, there will be a re-opening of Connie's Diner, under new ownership, in the near future! I have agreed to help train the new owners so you will see me again, in my apron, but this time only as a “temporary part-timer.” I am so excited for what the future holds for all of you, the diner, and of course myself!!
