I apologize, crap on me for not being able to respond to you all individually via your DM’s, IM’s or whatever you call them, I AM NOT a social media influencer/expert folks, so I’m going to try to cover all of your questions in one post.

Yes, we will run the Andouille pizza again. Just didn’t believe with the wild fire smoke that anyone would enjoy anymore smoky flavor in their mouth.

Yes the pizza buffet will be coming back with some different offerings that will vary by week. We just want it simple and quality before we throw it back on. This week hopefully. We are a little space deficient so to speak.

YES the dining room has been significantly upgraded. You should stop in and check it out. We still have a few things to do and we still try to keep it “old school” comfortable.

To our friends/associates in the Twin Cities, WI, NY, Chicago, Detroit, Texas, Cali, Iowa, Montana…YES, to my knowledge we are the only place on the North Shore now rocking the Grande cheese. Thanks for screwing that up because I had a full advertising thing behind that. It’s all good, I’ll “adapt and overcome”.

To all of you that have inquired, NO you cannot use the DNPTH Apex logo, that’s our’s and pending trademark. With the exception of those companies that we will be collaborating with in the near future.

YES the DNPTH puppy mascots are real. They are my babies and YES my little chipmunk, squirrel, “gronks” (Ravens/Crows) do actually climb my legs, sit on my lap and shoulders etc for their daily “snacks”. All of them make me laugh and I will try to get Jodi to take updated video by your request.

YES “The Thriller” is an actual person, is not AI’d and is a very good friend of ours. YES he really has a Viper and dam if I’m envious of how he sports it. But yes he is a real person.

YES our staff are local young people and we are very proud of them.

YES we try to do as much business locally/regionally as possible because personally I believe it’s important and it really is the best quality product.

lol at some of these pokes at ME. I know it’s just in fun. To sum the question’s up, YES I do attempt to promote other “hole in the wall” pizza places or “mom and pop” REAL food establishments because first I JUST LOVE PIZZA and second, these are the places that still serve what I call real food. Also they are typically the places that support their local communities even when they don’t have a dollar in their pocket to spare. The chains don’t typically do that on a local level and if that’s your flavor with the super processed stuff, no disrespect to you, but you will miss these places when they are gone all because it costs you 5 or 10 bucks more for clean food.

Finally Yonzi my old friend, I would be happy to trade you some Do North frozen s for your ravioli as long as it’s just for personal use. I love it.

Ok, so this is not overly pizza related but I promised a shout out to all of you from the DNPTH mascots during Heritage Days but I couldn’t get them to pose for a picture and hopefully it gives you a laugh.

My wife and I actually had 2 hours to put the pontoon in and get on the lake for an hour. This was their first pontoon ride.

THEY told me to tell YOU all that “if you don’t get pizza from Do North Two Harbors….YOU SUCK!” These are their words, not mine…😂

Before anyone gets ruffled, that is meant in jest and is also a paraphrased line from the outtakes of a movie that I can’t name on FB due to copyright laws but I’m sure most will recognize the phrase “I wanna go fast.”

They are just babies and they watch to many old late night movies with “Daddy”. I have to learn to be a more responsible parent and limit their screen time. It’s just hard because they bombard me with unlimited American Eskimo kisses but I know it’s just bribes for a square of pizza.

I hope this gave you all a laugh and we again are wishing you all a very peaceful, pleasant and restful Sunday.

More updates to come from the mascots and now my chipmunk/squirrel friends want to have their voices heard.

Hey folks. Just wanted to give you a heads up that for just a bit we will not be offering our garden salads and if you order a Taco pizza there won’t be any lettuce on it.

Most of the major US manufacturers and distributors have issued recall notices on most leafy greens. DON’T PANIC, this is being done as a purely precautionary measure.

None of Do North’s product is listed on the recalls because we use all high grade US sourced products but we “smelled this in the wind” a couple days ago and I just had the managers pull it because you never know about cross contamination because different products run through the same distribution centers and roll on the same trucks etc.

Again, this is only being done AS A PRECAUTIONARY measure. Your food safety is ALWAYS our primary concern and I have to give credit to US Foods and the other major distributors for getting ahead of this and putting consumer safety first.

This one isn’t a promotional thing, it’s just from me personally because I can reach more people on this page than on my personal one:

I had the absolute PRIVILEGE of seeing many of the DNTH early crews (and the REALLY prior to DN teams) this weekend…. I won’t post names but THANK YOU so much for stopping in and for the hugs and chats and I am so happy to hear that you all are doing so well! Makes me EXTREMELY proud. ❤️

“Toro”, sorry for missing you my little friend, and I swear on Friday I saw Marco, just a bigger version. Didn’t want to say anything because sometimes my glasses get so dirty I can’t see super good. 😂

Want to thank our current crew for really stepping to the line. I don’t think folks really realize that when you’re working any kitchen, the hours and heat/steam wears you out. Nice job guys!

Special thanks to my wife Jodi and our long time friend Michelle for rockin the slices! Finally to my mom Becky who supports all of us so much but never gets recognized for it. Love you mom. ❤️❤️❤️

On a separate note, does anyone know how much the helicopter rides are? Never been on one but have always been really fascinated by them…it’s a “bucket list thing”.

My good friends and neighbors in WI decided to do a Do North T.H. frozen pizza in the “Green Egg” and it turned out fantastic! Funny that in my 30 years of doing this I’ve never done one on a grill. 😂

Happy Heritage Days everyone!

Lots and lots of fun stuff going on in downtown Two Harbors this weekend.

Bad ole Mikeee Kas and The Tipsy Mosquito crew will be rockin Do North Pizzeria slices, cold brews and The Tipsy’s awesome adult slushy drinks in the Park State Bank lot (much thanks to them for lending us the area) during the street dance Friday night and the veteran slice gals Jodi and Michelle will be kickin the slice encore Saturday right outside Do North Pizzeria as is a Heritage Days tradition.

Unfortunately the Do North mascots Frosty Bumbleena and Aurora Ray will not be able to attend due to a conflicting publicity gig with the Minnesuing Chippzzers but we’ll flash you a hello Saturday.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous 4th of July weekend!

Going to send this reminder out just because I continue to receive requests for it, maybe some didn’t see the last post.

This pizza pie is on again Sunday July 5th by your request. It features Do North’s classic thinner crust, Do North’s epic pizza sauce, the SUPER premium Grande Cheese Company’s lightly smoked mozzarella, lightly smoked andouille sausage, bacon, mushrooms, fresh sliced mild jalapeños and red onion and finally sautéed fire roasted sweet red bell peppers. Nothing is “over dosed” on this pizza. You get a little bit of sweet, a little bit of low-key spicy, and a little bit of smoky flavor.

YES you can leave certain veggie toppings off or sub them for another to suit your tastes. For example our prior manager “J-Blaze” subbed the jalapeños for sliced pepperoncini peppers, one fella asked me if he could add sauerkraut, a few folks asked if they could sub pineapple for the mushrooms. Feel free! 😂

I didn’t have a funny/flashy name for this pizza until today. Since I developed it, I get to name it and I’m going to call-sign it the “QDASS” standing for The “Quinn Dinky Andouille Sausage Spectacular”after my niece Quinn. Her nickname is “Quinn Dinky”, (you can stop up to the Tipsy Mosquito when she’s working and ask her how she got that name.)

The pizza reminds me of her…a touch spicy, a touch sweet, and when she stands next to a Minnesota campfire…she smells a touch smoky. 😂😂😂
