Kiamugumo Peaberry from small farmers in Kenya is a medium roast balancing intense fruitiness with chocolate and spice.

Las Duenas Cafe from women growers in Guatemala is a mellow dark roast with a delicious malty sweetness.

We’ve reached the point in the market season when I can’t help but expand the menu! New this week, I roasted the first batches of the Kenya Kiamugumo Peaberry, once again a highlight of the season. On the flip side, this is the last chance for the light roast from Finca Kilimanjaro in El Salvador.

I’ll be serving up samples of Costa Rica Finca Amistad again this week alongside my darkest roast from Ramirez Estate in the Dominican Republic. Both coffees are organically grown and fresh roasted in small batches here in Two Harbors.

Following this market, I’ll be out of town the 21st and back for the last market of the month on the 28th.

Stop by my stand at the Two Harbors Farmers Market tomorrow for samples of this week’s featured coffees!

Finca Amistad is a certified organic and bird-friendly farm in southern Costa Rica and a perennial favorite of ours . This season’s medium roast is sweet and nutty with low acidity and a hint of lemon.

Port City Blend is an authentic Mokka-Java, featuring coffees from the original coffee-exporting countries in the 17th century. The pairing of rustic and fruity Yemen with smooth and chocolatey Java makes for a very unique dark roast.

Wishing everyone at the market a great opening day at the new location!

I’ll be at the market starting next weekend with freshly roasted coffee from perennial favorite producers including Finca Amistad in Costa Rica plus a great new offering from one of the finest coffee growers in El Salvador.

Today at the market, I’ll be serving up samples of Haiti Baptiste Blue, a rich and sweet darker roast, alongside the Kenya Kiamugumo Peaberry, a balanced and fruity medium roast.

Alongside the light roast from Mexico, I will also be offering samples of Haiti Blue Mountain, the darkest roast on my menu. This organically grown coffee offers a rich and robust flavor that is equally suited to brewed coffee or espresso.

At the market this weekend, I’ll be sampling my light roast featuring coffee from women coffee growers in the Bella Vista community in Chiapas, Mexico. This coffee has a subtle but distinct fruitiness with a creamy finish that makes for one of my favorite coffees again this year.

Beginning this Saturday, I’ll be serving samples of two different coffees from my lineup each week! To kick it off, this week I’ll be sampling Finca Amistad, a classic nutty and sweet Costa Rican coffee, alongside the Port City Blend, an authentic Mokka Java blend combining the fruit and spice notes of Yemeni coffee with the bold sweetness of coffee from the island of Java.
