Hello Grove Community! 🌞

Starting tomorrow, July 30th, our hours will change to :

Monday. Closed
Tuesday - Friday 7am - 3pm
Saturdays 9am - 2pm
Sunday. Closed

Mid-May through end of a July was a trial period to see if evening hours were going to be needed during the summer months. We had great support, but not as consistent as we needed to maintain being open for evening hours.

Watch for updates regarding special events that will be happening at The Grove! We thank all of you and appreciate your support!

The Grove schedule for Town & Country Days 2024 is a bit different than our usual all-day breakfast on Saturdays.

We WILL NOT have our full breakfast menu available for T&C Days. We have specialty ‘Flight’ menus running for this day specifically, along with full Bakery and Coffee Bar items available all day!

We will be open from 8:00 -9:45am for Parfait Flights, Bakery, and Coffee Bar; our team will be participating in the parade from 9:45am until after the parade; and all Flights, Bakery, and full Coffee Bar available from after parade until 3pm!

There’s an amazing day planned for all ages to thoroughly enjoy! PLEASE COME and enjoy all that Twin Valley and Town & Country Days has to offer! We look forward to seeing you all there!

In our most recent podcast episode, LeeAnn talks a lot about her vision, because her vision is what drove her to build her business. However, she also talks about how, when she was hiring employees (not an easy feat in a small town!) she shared her vision with them.

We love this.

Business owners/managers/bosses who share their vision with their employees are the ones who can foster a sense of ownership and buy-in from their staff, which is necessary for long-term success—especially for a new business like LeeAnn’s. She knew she’d need her staff to come alongside her as they all figured out the best way to run The Grove Kitchen, Coffee, and Bake Shop , and hiring staff that understood her vision (both for the actual business and for the kind of team she wanted to run it) was key.

LeeAnn reached out to Rebecca years ago after hearing her speak at an event when Growing Small Towns was just getting its sea legs (prairie legs?) She shared her vision for a space in her community with a place for groups to gather as well as a cafe or restaurant. Rebecca, of course, loved it (please share your ideas and dreams with us!) because supporting people growing their small towns is, like, our favorite.

That precise vision didn’t come to fruition (more on that later) but what did is The Grove Kitchen, Coffee, and Bake Shop, a gathering place with a coffee bar, ice cream, bakery, and restaurant plus a big room in the back for large parties, meetings, groups, etc. LeeAnn calls it “A little hub,” but we call it amazing.

Chosen applicants will be required to work varying shifts; consisting of some early mornings, some evenings, and some Saturdays.
