Two true Twin Lakes landmarks are preparing for their final weekends of 2026. Come join us for the food, fun and savings!

For the Twin Lakes Inn, this is the final weekend of 2026. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday we're serving brunch from 7:30-12:30. We also have lodging available Fri and Sat nights. Book directly at Lodging link in our website for our best rates.

For our neighbors at the Twin Lakes General Store, this is the last of two weekends and it's also the start of their end-of-season clearance. Choose from their carefully curated selection and save 15% off everything (except at the gas pumps). Motu has organized her own clearance table with finds from 30-50% off. Remember: Only 9 weeks 'til Christmas. This store has amazing gifts for friends and family.

It's the last Saturday of September AND the last live music event of our 2026 season. We're very pleased to have Luke Israel back, by popular demand, this Saturday from 5-7. Sunshine is predicted all day. Punky's Burgers and Indy Pass Pies will also be on hand along with the Inn's full bar. If you're around in the morning, our top-rated brunch is open from 7:30-12:30. The patio food artisans begin their service around noon until the music stops (that is, if we let it!).

While in historic Twin Lakes, please also visit these good neighbors:
Twin Lakes Visitor Center (next to the free USFS parking lot)
Twin Lakes General Store (trail essentials, unique gifts and world-famous Pass Gas)
Roadhouse Twin Lakes (coffee and desserts)
SUP & Cycle (on the west side of the Inn)
Shooting Star Gallery (just a few steps behind the Inn)
Twin Lakes Adventures
Stay Twin Lakes (cabin and lodging rentals)

Happy National Cheeseburger Day! You've got two tasty options to celebrate. Get here before 12:30 and order a cheeseburger during our public brunch service (dine-in or carryout). Or, stop by out patio all afternoon for a delicious cheeseburger from Punky's Burgers. It's believed that cheeseburgers taste even better in the Fall. Test it yourself while taking in all the fall colors around Twin Lakes Colorado.

Good vibrations are always part of the experience when you're hangin' at the Twin Lakes Inn. And on Saturdays, when live music makes the scene, the Inn is the best place to be. This weekend, it's Fancey Monky providing the tunes. You may also recognize one of the band members as a familiar face (or chin). Isn't that the guy who just helped me with my purchase at the Twin Lakes General Store? Yep, in addition to retail guru, healer and Yoga ace, Matt's also a musician. Come listen to Fancey Monky from 5-7. And all afternoon you can dine on Punky's Burgers and Indy Pass Pies and quench your thirst from the Inn's full bar.

This Saturday the Twin Lakes Inn and our patio partners, Punky's Burgers & Indy Pass Pies, invite you to come enjoy live music from David Zollo along with Body Electric bandmember Brian Cooper. Music will be from 5-7. The Inn's full bar (ID req'd) and patio will be open all afternoon and through the show. Listen to great music among great friends and watch the leaves change in front of your eyes from one of the best viewing spots in Lake County. It's free admission, too. Remember that our brunch is open from 7:30-12:30 (except Tues/Wed). Lodging is open nightly and includes brunch/breakfast for every paid guest.

While in Twin Lakes Village, check out any of the other services available including Twin Lakes General Store, Shooting Star Gallery, SUP & Cycle, Roadhouse Twin Lakes, Percolated Peaks and Twin Lakes Adventures. Also, just 4 miles west of the Village, you'll also find a gift shop at Mt Elbert Lodge.

Once upon a time at the Twin Lakes Inn there was no Labor Day.
How could that be? Well, when our first guests began enjoying the Inn's accommodations in 1879, Labor Day wasn't yet a national holiday. It would be about another decade and a half before the first Monday in September became a national holiday. Guests are still making history here. We hope you can join us for brunch this weekend. Enjoy chef-made, delicious dishes from 7:30-12:30 inside the Inn. Service continues on our patio with the Inn's full bar plus hand-crafted pizza options from Indy Pass Pies through the afternoon and early evening. Be sure to also visit Bob and Motu next door at the Twin Lakes General Store. Shooting Star Gallery behind the Inn is also open featuring the work of area artisans. There's also Roadhouse Twin Lakes, Percolated Peaks, Twin Lakes Adventures plus the lakes, peaks and trails ready for your adventures. A special shoutout to our amazing staff, too. Please have a safe, fun Labor Day at Colorado's eastern gateway to Indy Pass.

Cheering and crewing athletes takes energy, too. That's why you need to fuel up this Saturday inside the Inn AND on our large outdoor patio. The race course travels 5th Street in the Village, directly between the Twin Lakes Inn and the Twin Lakes General Store and also in front of our neighbors at Shooting Star Gallery. In place of our regular brunch, you're invited to enjoy our special LT100 menus for breakfast food and drinks, plus the patio food and beverage services will open around 11 AM.

Remember that music by is scheduled from Noon until 2. Patio and full bar service will remain open, based on demand, until about 7PM. All of Twin Lakes Village is ready to welcome you. Please join the Twin Lakes Inn, EatAtPunky's and IndyPassPies for a refreshing, fun celebration of the 2026 Race Across The Sky. Giddy up!

Theoretic performs in Twin Lakes this Saturday! The Denver-based indie/alt foursome, including Twin Lakes own TJ Wethington, bring just the right sound to inspire runners and fans for this weekend's Race Across The Sky (aka Leadville 100 Run). Come join TJ, with bandmates Chris Herr, Brennan McLaren and Alex Hartman, at the Twin Lakes Inn. IndyPassPies and EatAtPunkys along with the Twin Lakes Inn have prepared special food and beverage options for the cheering fans and hard-working race crews.

If you've never witnessed this event, Twin Lakes is a favorite fan viewing area because of where our historic village is located on the course. This portion of the course, which is at about 40 miles on the outbound and 64 miles on the inbound is where runners begin and end not one but TWO climbs over 12,500' Hope Pass. Whew! Plus, Twin Lakes is one of the best spots to watch the bulk of competitors to weave their way back from completing Hope Pass in the dark with their headlamps letting you follow their progress. Outbound runners have to reach Twin Lakes aid station by 2:15 Saturday afternoon (just after the music ends) and must return on the inbound leg by 11 PM.

Are you traveling through Twin Lakes this weekend? Please be advised that traffic will frequently be halted to yield to runners as they cross Hwy 82 and follow the race course between the Twin Lakes General Store and the Twin Lakes Inn. Visitors should also be aware that parking is strictly controlled for the entire village until after the last runners reach Twin Lakes very late on Saturday night. Sure, our quiet outpost won't be as quiet this weekend but you're sure to enjoy being part of this annual ultra-event celebration.

Just weeks from now nature's mash-up of green and gold arrives in Twin Lakes, one of Colorado's fave fall spots. Every where you look, you're part of the canvas, surrounded by the seasonal colors under bright blue skies and star-filled nights. It's magical, and the Twin Lakes Inn is at the center of it all. Of course, Twin Lakes is also the place to be for amazing human feats, too. Again this year, Twin Lakes will cheer-on competitors in the annual LT100 MTB and LT100 RUN (Race Across The Sky) ultra-endurance events. Limited rooms are also available for the LT100 weekends and the weekdays in between. Book directly and securely at our website for the best available room rates. We also have special accommodations for family and group bookings through the Fall. Remember, too, that our chef-made brunch is included for every paid lodging guest. Brunch hours are 7:30-12:30. For afternoon and early evening dining, visit Eat At Punky's and Indy Pass Pies on our large patio with support from our full bar.
