Our Blue Lake Biergarten 'Artist in Residence' has done it again! Out of more than 1,000 artists from around the world Tom Gifford's entry of 'Echo's of Empire' is included in the Top 30 of all entries in this year's ArtPrize competition in Grand Rapids.

At Rosa Parks Circle, in front of McKay Tower, you'll find 'Echo's of Empire' through October 3rd. If voting in this year's ArtPrize competition give a boost to Tom's competition with a daily vote for Entry #28576 - Help bring Tom a 'Top Ten Winner' of ArtPrize 2026.

Tom's prior ArtPrize entries included the Blue Lake Lighthouse we have installed at Blue Lake Biergarten. We look forward to Tom Gifford allowing us to bring this year's ArtPrize entry to Blue Lake Hops & Gardens at the end of this year's ArtPrize competition!

Too much beef and not enough chicken was the chant. So we introduce Buffalo Chicken Nachos, crispy tortilla chips topped with shredded buffalo-seasoned chicken, melted cheese, and garnishes like Jalapeños, Hot Italian giardiniera or plain. Combines buffalo wing flavors with the crunch of nachos!
