After nearly a decade, it’s time for us to say goodbye to our beloved Costa Mesa store 💙
What started as our second location quickly became so much more than a coffee shop. It became a place filled with familiar faces, morning rituals, conversations, friendships, meetings, celebrations, and so many memories we’ll carry with us forever.
Unfortunately, our new landlord has a different vision for the space, and our last day at Hive will be this Saturday, May 16th.
To our Costa Mesa community: thank you. Thank you to every regular who made us part of your daily routine, every customer who chose to spend time with us, and especially to our incredible staff who created such a warm, welcoming place for people to gather over the years. You are what made this space so special.
While we’re heartbroken to close this chapter, we’re hopeful that maybe one day we’ll find another home in Costa Mesa again. In the meantime, you can still grab our coffee down the road at Dick Church’s and all of our other locations around Orange County.
We’d love to see as many familiar faces as possible this week before we close our doors. Stop by, share a memory with us, and help us celebrate everything this little shop has meant over the past 9 years.
