Last week, River had the awesome opportunity to attend the Alabama Governors Conference on tourism and represent Tuscaloosa with fellow Tuscaloosa peeps. While there, I also got to sit next to and witness our president and CEO of Visit Tuscaloosa, accept the award for Tourism Executive of the Year. River and myself are so excited for her and proud to be a part of her journey. We strive daily to provide a place for everyone that is comfortable, approachable and delicious to our guests. Kelsey and her team at Visit Tuscaloosa, help to make us feel like we are supported in our efforts.
As we move forward in our 10th year, we will continue to work to give back to our community and our industry at our full potential. The River team is beyond thankful for the opportunities and support that Visit Tuscaloosa and the community continues to give our restaurant and the other independent restaurants in Tuscaloosa. Roll Tide!
