Our flock has grown this week!

We were lucky enough to meet One Acre Garden and their special flock.

Lyssie was a special young girl who was tragically diagnosed with brain cancer. She and her siblings and cousins hatched Lyssie’s Ladies and she loved to sit and watch them at her grandma’s house.

Sadly, Lyssie passed away and one of the many ways her memory lives on is through her flock.

Her grandmother reached out to the community recently looking for someone to take the flock as they were having trouble caring for them.
A match meant to be. 😊

We are happy to have them now and help care for these special ladies and the memories they carry with them. ❤️😊🐓

Another fantastic fundraising month! Thank you all again for your help!

We raised $330 from our wonderful patrons + we always chip in the first $100 = $430 for Miracle German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Maine!!

There are so many shelters and rescues out there that need help - we are going to go one more month for our favorite breed - the GSD.

Thank you all so very much for helping those that don't have a voice. ♥️🐶🐕

Organic growing methods used and contain - beets, carrots, onions, butter lettuce, romaine lettuce, eggplant, peppers, yellow squash, winter squash and a beautiful bouquet of flowers! All for just $30.

The Blue Heron Farm and Retreat is a beautiful 13 acre farm in Turner, Maine. We have a unique adult only farm stay and farm to table restaurant.
Our restaurant is open to the public on Friday and Saturday nights from May to mid-December.

Hello Everyone!!! Fall is upon us!! 🍁🎃🍂🥧

Fall is our favorite time of year on the farm - the weather is beautiful, no more bugs, the nights are crisp for a fire, and the menus are delicious!

Our lodging is open through the October 17th/18th weekend - come stay with us for the fall festivals and apple and pumpkin picking! So much to do in the area this fall!

And if you are a local, we serve dinner every Friday and Saturday night through the weekend before Thanksgiving - our fall menus are FANTASTIC!!
