Monday night is BBQ NIGHT at Player’s Pub at Shadowbrook, and for the special we will be serving up pan-fried chicken, potato cake, and zesty, cheesy broccoli. Come try it out and leave with a belly full of homemade goodness!

Hatchet Jack was honored to be part of the Abington Community Library’s Summer Culinary Series. Tonight he instructed all about ribs to a sold-out crowd (there was even a waiting list to attend!) It was informative and so much fun with audience participation, and, of course, delicious rib samples for all to try! One attendee (who grew up in the South) said they were the BEST RIBS she ever had! Wow! (Try some for yourself at The Player’s Pub at Shadowbrook!) Great job, Hatchet Jack! And thank you, Abington Community Library!

Happiest Father’s Day to all you fathers out there, and sorry we haven’t posted in a while, but it’s been busy! TOMORROW (MONDAY) NIGHT is BBQ NIGHT at THE PLAYER’S PUB at SHADOWBROOK, and you will find perfectly prepared chicken, pork, brisket, and pork ribs available, plus all of our delicious sides, along with a new twist on an old classic: a “SMOKED JACK” FRIED BOLOGNA SANDWICH! If you never had one before, ya gotta try it. Dinner service starts at 4:00 pm sharp!

Good evening, everybody. As you know, Hatchet Jack’s is available every day at the Player’s Pub at Shadowbrook, but MONDAY NIGHTS showcase the bbq, and oh boy, we have a doozie this week! Our bbq special will be melt-in-your-mouth, smoked pork steak with a side of mashed potatoes, and a huge, stuffed-with- brisket, bacon and cheese-wrapped, perfectly smoked jalapeño popper! If you haven’t made the trip up to see us yet, Monday night would definitely be the night to do it!!

Good evening everyone. It appears that spring has sprung! Usher in summer a little early at Player’s Pub/ Shadowbrook tomorrow (Monday) night with a BBQ HALF CHICKEN DINNER with your choice of any 2 sides (including potato salad 😋) for only $14.99! Also, I have developed a new sauce: “Honey Bourbon,” specifically designed for the half chickens; be the first to try it tomorrow starting at 4:00 pm! (All barbecue menu items will also be available.) EAT IN OR TAKE OUT!
