My friend Doug called with some sad news,
Matt Guyon passed away.. another bummer.
His Starship Records imported all the best music from overseas. It was like having a portal to King’s Row/London’s best 🇬🇧 record shops.
He recorded all those KMOD radio commercials in his office on a reel to reel.
“New music on sale now at Starship Records &Tapes..”

Thanks for all you did for the Tulsa music scene Matt. ♥️
