What a ride it has been! Thank you, Tulsa, for all your love and support all these years. 10 years of Bodhi’s gone in a wonderful blink. So many amazing customers, caterings, and relationships built. So many great chefs I’ve had the chance to work with.
To the folks that have worked with me all these years I can only offer my sincerest respect and appreciation. Some of the hardest working people I have ever met have been there with me from the beginning and through the years. I’ll miss them most of all.
To the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation, my sincere gratitude. None of this would have happened without that Kitchen 66 start. Robbie and Adele were there from the very beginning. All the folks at Mother Road Market were wonderful, supportive, and fair from the first sale. What an amazing place to spend 8 years. Please continue to support this wonderful organization and its people. I’ve seen them up close, first hand, and from day one. They love Tulsa, love their mission, and are amazing folks.
To my family and my amazing wife, thank you ♥️ a journey like this is impossible without your love and support. My wife was the one who first told me about K66 and encouraged me to sign up, take a chance. What an amazing decision it was. Both my mother and mother-in-law got to work with me in that kitchen as guest chefs. My good friend Miguel Angel Lagunas who was there making recipes with me in those early nights. Respect, brother 🤙. Finally, my son Bodhi. This journey started when he was only a few months old. He’s always wanted to be a part of it and he was. Such great moments we spent together. We’ll never forget this time in our lives as father and son ♥️
It is time for a new adventure. This journey started with little Bodhi, we now have 5 kids. The time has come to find a bit of a steadier pace. Being CEO, CFO, and several other C’s 24/7 has taken a toll. Somehow, though, it will all be missed.
But stay tuned! You never know when another Canada Day poutine eating competition will pop up 😉
