Our client, a private chef who hosts incredible dinner experiences in her home—wanted a dining room that could seat more guests and felt like a high-end restaurant.

From the moody green-grey walls and layered lighting to the faux metallic ceiling, and custom wine display... every detail was designed to elevate the experience for her guests.

Inspired by a photo of a blue kitchen they couldn’t stop thinking about, we paired rich blue upper cabinetry with stained wood lower cabinets to create our clients’ dream kitchen.

One of this biggest transformations? Replacing the small clerestory windows with ful-height windows that flood the space with natural light!

This project is a reminder that thoughtful design isn’t just about selecting beautiful finishes— it’s about reimagining the home you already love to better support the way you live.

Some relationships start with a project—and quietly turn into something longer lasting. 🤍

We came across this photo from last year’s Designer Showcase party and loved seeing Julia and Debbie alongside our longtime client, Christine. It's a reminder of the meaningful relationships that are built through the design process.

When Christine and her family first hired Kirkendall Design, it was to reimagine their home. Years later, it’s become so much more than that. What began as a design collaboration has grown into genuine friendship.

The Sheridan House was designed as a multigenerational home inspired by their family, lifestyle, and love of travel. Every detail was created with intention to reflect the people who live there.
