Running a small business is so hard. Running a small business in this economy seems impossible. Raising a family and running a small business well… we honestly don’t know how we are able to do it all most days 😅
It took us over 10 years of trial and error in entrepreneurship before anyone would ever take us seriously and fund us for a brick and mortar restaurant. And then we really hit some massive roadblocks that almost killed our dream entirely. We shouldn’t have survived all that we went through. I’m being honest, we had to dig really deep. But we couldn’t let failure be a possibility. Whatever it took, we HAD to get these plant based eats to Tulsa.
It’s been one and a half years now that we’ve had our doors open. We have struggled financially the entire time, due to all the unforeseeable circumstances that can show up along the way. It is SO hard to ask for help. It is embarrassing to be so transparent. But at the end of the day, it’s kept us alive and serving our community.
There’s about 100 of you, give or take, that we see multiple times every week. We know your smiling faces. We know your families. We know your favorite menu items. And it’s because of you that the lights stay on, we keep a roof over our heads, we have a paycheck to give our hardworking team, we are able to invest in our children’s dreams.
From our family to yours- we thank you immensely from the bottom of our hearts! These kids know how hard Mom & Dad work. They know our mission and see our passion. They respect the time we do spend away from them because they know we are doing what we truly love and that we are trying to make the world a better place.
That in itself, is a total dream come true. Thank you all for supporting this little family business of ours. Not a day goes by that we don’t count our blessings 🙏🏼🖤
