We had a BLAST tonight competing in the Food Fight: Tag Team addition at Mother Road Market!

We got paired up with Baloney Maroneys - yes the vegan kitchen with a smoked bologna Food Truck. What a wild duo and we wouldn’t have had it any other way! We tag teamed a Smoked Praline Bread Pudding that was to die for.

It was a really close count by the end of the fight. And although we didn’t quite take home the big W this time, our neighbors Zasa’s & Leroux’s earned their championship status and to that we say congratulations friends!

Can’t wait for the next one! 🥊

One truly wonderful thing that I am just in love with here at Koko’s is my inspiration has been sparked all over again. Over the years I have been committed to perfecting menu after menu. The Bayou food truck, Ruby D’s Burger Joint. It’s so fun and exciting in the beginning. But like any creative project you reach a moment of completion.

My favorite thing about creating Koko’s is being given a blank canvas. I don’t have to live up to high, Cajun cuisine expectations. I don’t have to worry about it fitting the burger “brand” at our diner. It’s all about what inspires me to create 🥰

And I’m currently feeling so inspired by Fall…
(Or perhaps dreaming of it arriving soon 🤣)
