Gift Card News

I want to update you on the Gift cards. We said that you would receive receipts of items purchased with a balance. I was informed by a few parents they were not receiving them. So I contacted Square as to the reason.

The statement, "if the email address or phone number is attached to that payment card you will automatically be sent receipts to this address when you make subsequent purchases with that card at Square Sellers without having to enter in your email address each time," does not apply to gift cards.

Unfortunately, there is no way to look this information up as a parent and we do not have enough time to allow your student to enter your email address or phone number after each purchase. We can, however, let your student know how much is left on the card when they make a purchase, if they ask.

Joy Catering will do our best to inform your student when the card is below $10. We will have the student type your cell number on the receipt so we can send you a copy of that receipt with the balance. Please make sure your student knows which cell number you want the receipt sent.
