This is an appreciation post for our partners at Santa Ana Pueblo, producers of the Tamaya blue cornmeal that we use in our blue corn atole white chocolate bar. After eight years of working together, I finally had the opportunity to visit the grain mill.

The team was generous and hospitable. We fell easily into conversation about process and machinery, the mechanics of milling, and how the operation has grown its capacity significantly over the last few years. There’s a particular satisfaction in talking craft with people who have devoted real attention to it, and finding common ground we can relate to in each of our processes. They’re close to a major equipment upgrade, a milestone that reflects years of deliberate, steady growth.

We’re proud to work with Santa Ana Pueblo and happy to see their operation thriving. 💙
