I am so gratified with the support and appreciation our family has given us through 32+ years of my connection with Chuy's.
There have been many challenges, non of which are reflected on our loyal customers.
In the end, to many financial changes, and inappropriate legal misrepresentation left us no discourse.
Bless you and thank you for all we have helped and created in Tucson

Your truly and still standing,
J. Brian Latta

City Council has currently named 10pm as the witching hour.
For us, situation pretty much normal. Thanks to all who voiced their objections to the 8pm curfew.
Thank you Paul Cunningham.

For those who are unaware, the Mayor has purposed a mandatory 8pm curfew beginning 12/01-12/22.
This could be the final nail in many small businesses coffin who have managed to survive thus far.
Consider that we are already operating at 50% capacity for over 6 months and closed altogether for 2, many establishments longer. How would you survive on half your income or less?

What our political decision makers fail to comprehend is that an 8pm curfew means businesses start losing customers a minimum of an hour earlier. You just cut my 50% down to 30%.
How sad for all the employees who may lose their jobs over the holidays.

So...this is as close as I will come to a public comment that may be taken politically.
We have reopened our business for over 6 months now. In that time, on our outside patios, we have had over 20 events with 50 people or more in attendance and 4 events with in excess of 100. 1, which is well documented, with over 400 people coming and going.
At these events with all staff following health department Covid-19 Guidelines, customers limiting their number under roof and masking up, we have been alerted to absolutely ZERO potential cases of Covid-19.
Let that sink in...ZERO CASES OF COVID-19.
That's not to say there has been none, but certainly not what many out there would assume.
I think this is a specific case of "living with the virus". It CAN be done!
If your under the weather, stay home. If your health compromised, stay home. When your around groups in an enclosed area, mask up or social distance. Wash your hands, use your head and enjoy being an American!🇺🇸

Once again the cancel culture begins again.
We are busy raising money for our Veterans battling PTSD and Trump supporters show up to stand on the street corner of which I have NO control. After a brief discussion the participants honored my wishes and had their "rally" North of my establishment instead of in front of. Every time the corner of 22nd and Kolb is used as "rally" point for these events, a handful of uneducated individuals (Beth Holick) call or post to give me and my employees crap. Just wanted to clear this up. The Sidewalk is City Property which I have NO control over. I'm grateful they moved their rally down the road.
We raised over $1,000 to help provide a rescue dog, fully trained in service for a Veteran battling PTSD.
Think before you post.
