We love this feature on our deeply rooted culinary beginnings and delicious surroundings. Certainly thankful to be here and to be mentioned along all of these amazing local gems. 🫶

Check out Iconic Magazine’s, “Food, Art & the Desert: 36 Hours in Tucson, Arizona” by the lovely Bailey Badillo.

“This Southwestern city is a hidden culinary hotspot, where an ancient food system, a flourishing arts scene and the Sonoran Desert come together.

Head to Tucson, Arizona, for a weekend and you may arrive expecting saguaros, sunshine and really good tacos. You’ll find all three, of course. But Tucson has a few additional surprises tucked beneath its desert exterior.

While Arizona’s newly arrived Michelin Guide has put a fresh spotlight on the state’s culinary scene, Tucson’s gastronomic credentials go back much further. Tucson became the first U.S. city to earn the UNESCO gastronomy designation in 2015, and a decade later, that relationship between land, culture, and food still defines the city.”

🩵🙏“Start at Seis Kitchen, where the menu travels through six culinary regions of Mexico with dishes ranging from breakfast chilaquiles to tacos with calabacitas (squash medley) and giant burritos. Save room for La Estrella Bakery, a longtime Tucson favorite known for freshly baked Mexican pastries and pan dulce. Inside the Mercado includes locally roasted Presta Coffee Roasters and El Zumitos with fresh juices, smoothies and aguas frescas.”

To our wonderful community,

It is with heavy hearts that we share some bittersweet news. After much reflection, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close our Joesler Village newly rebranded Cantina Location.

We feel a deep sense of remorse for having to close this chapter, especially because of how warmly you welcomed us into this neighborhood. Saying goodbye to the regular guests who became faces we looked forward to seeing every week, and to the incredible team members who poured their passion into this location, is incredibly painful. We are truly sorry that we cannot continue serving you here.

At the same time, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. You turned a simple dining room into a vibrant community gathering place, and for that, we will be forever grateful.

While this specific door is closing, our culinary journey together doesn’t have to end. Our three other locations remain fully open and ready to welcome you with the same warmth and hospitality you’ve always known ❤️ We hope you will visit us at our Tanque Verde, Oro Valley and Mercado spots. 🙏

Your favorite dishes-and many of the familiar faces you know and love-will be there waiting for you.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your loyalty, your support, and your understanding during this transition.

🩵Jake, Erika and your entire Seis and Cantina Crew.
