To our friends, family, and the Tucson community we love so much,
This is one of the hardest messages we’ve ever had to write.
When we opened our new location, we truly believed it would be a fresh start and a new chapter for BZ’s Bistro. Unfortunately, ongoing issues beyond our control never allowed us to fully find our footing. Our team fought through constant water problems and leaks, and when we were finally busy, an unexpected lingering odor would fill the dining room and turn guests away. It was heartbreaking to watch something we worked so hard for struggle despite everyone’s best efforts.
This past year was especially difficult, and as sales continued to decline, we were faced with an incredibly tough decision. After many long nights, honest conversations, and heavy hearts, we chose to step back, close this chapter, and regroup.
This is not the end of BZ’s Bistro. It’s a pause — a chance to heal, refocus, and plan a future that feels right. We are working toward returning closer to home, back on the Eastside, where our roots run deep and where this journey began.
Thank you to everyone who supported us, dined with us, encouraged us, and believed in us through it all. Your love means more to us than we can ever put into words. We look forward to the day we can welcome you back to our table again.
