Our After School Art Club at William E. Cottle School has been such a joy to build as we gear up for our studio opening in July. Over the past weeks, students have explored mixed media collage flower arrangements, foam block printing, wet felted landscapes, sketchbook binding, and so much more — experimenting with process, texture, and creative problem solving along the way.

One of our favorite things about working with children is watching how differently each student approaches the same materials. The results are always thoughtful, imaginative, and entirely their own.

We’re so grateful to the students, families, and staff at William E. Cottle for welcoming us into your community.

Check out the link in our bio to register for summer clay camps and classes for kids, as well as a range of adult ceramics classes led by an incredible team. We can’t wait to see you all soon!

After a little real-life game of kiln Tetris
 they’re in. 😅

Our two brand new kilns arrived today as part of their very first U.S. shipment, and we could not be more excited to have them officially home at Gather.

These beauties are going to fire a whole lot of first mugs, wonky bowls, sculpture experiments, late-night breakthroughs, and pieces people will treasure for years to come.

Now to get them installed and ready to fiređŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„

Proud to partner with for , who shared an inspiring and thoughtful talk on her journey—beyond the script—from her early days as a news anchor at a time when women were not widely accepted in the field, to her work advocating for important causes like breast cancer screening and end-of-life care. She spoke about the evolution of news, life in the public eye, the power of perspective, and the importance of saying yes to opportunities.

When asked about her most memorable interview, she recalled speaking with a mother who had lost her daughter to a drunk driver. When asked if she could forgive, the mother replied: a heart that doesn’t forgive has no room for love—a sentiment that feels especially relevant in today’s world.

We have signed copies available for purchase of Joan’s latest book “Life Beyond the Script” via our website!
