The Mount Ida Community Food Pantry cannot thank Lori Harrington for her generosity and those who added to the "pot". In under 24 hours our community came together and raised enough funds for us to PURCHASE a BRAND NEW freezer for the pantry. AMAZING IS ALL I CAN SAY💞.Our new freezer arrives on Friday, giving us plenty of time to have it up and running for our delivery in two weeks. I am so blessed to be a part of this community. 🥰

THE MOUNT IDA COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY WILL BE HOSTING A "RENT-A-TABLE' RUMMAGE SALE ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH FROM 9:00AM-3:00PM. CALL DENISE TO GET A TABLE BEFORE THEY ARE ALL GONE!!!

PLEASE TELL FRIENDS AND FAMILY ABOUT THE RUMMAGE SALE SO WE CAN GET A LARGE CROWD THERE TO SUPPORT THOSE WHO PURCHASE TABLES TO SUPPORT US. ALONG WITH THE RUMMAGE SALE WE WILL BE SELLING CONSESSION STYLE FOODS. ALL PROCEEDS FROM TABLE RENTALS AND THE FOOD SALE GO DIRECTLY TO SUPPORT THE FOOD PNTRY AS THE NUMBER OF FAMILIES WE SERVE CONTINUE TO INCREASE

The Mount Ida Food Pantry Auction was A BIG SUCCESS again thanks to all the hard work of many volunteers. We can't thank all those enough who came out to the auction and supported us, donated auction items, ran around collecting items, putting together baskets or sending in monetary donations. All that paid off as we were able to raise over $8,000!!! That will go a looooong way in providing food, personal hygiene items, infant needs and pet food to our neighbors in need. THANK YOU for showing your love and making our Auction a tremendous success.
