I'll be blowing my shofar and offering market apples and honey to everyone for a sweet New Year. We'll have our family’s Rugelach, Macaroons, Jewish Sweet n Sour Meatballs, and of course Bialys and our TMC favorites -

Saturday at the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market I will practicing my shofar as we get ready to celebrate the Jewish New Year of 5787. For the next two Saturdays we will be offering everyone at the Market apples and honey for a sweet New Year. We will have Rugelach, Macaroons, and Bialys on our menu.

Harbe Nagi Day! Please support this wonderful fundraiser that our friends at Alaturco are doing to benefit children with autism. If you haven’t been to their Ballston Spa location, this is the time to go.

We are so happy and proud to finally share this news with you.

Our Harbe Nagi Day fundraiser for children with autism has officially been approved for August 30! 4PM TO 9PM

First, a heartfelt thank you to Ballston Spa Mayor Frank Rossi - Ballston Spa, NY and the Village of Ballston Spa Building Department for their kindness, guidance, and support throughout this process. They truly helped us every step of the way, and we are so grateful.

Now we need one small favor from all of you: please share this post. Help us reach as many people as possible. 🩷

On August 30 (4PM TO 9PM), we will set up outside in the public parking lot right next to Alaturco Gyro Mediterranean Restaurant. That day, we will be serving a special Harbe Nagi sandwich, and every sandwich you purchase will be part of our fundraiser for children with autism.

Our restaurant will be closed for regular business that day. We will dedicate the entire day, our food, and our work to our special children.

We also want to apologize for the delay in organizing this event. My husband, and Alaturco’s founding chef, is currently going through the kidney transplant process, so the past few weeks have been a little difficult for our family. But we made a promise, and we were determined to keep it.

Because this community has given us so much.

Ballston Spa welcomed our family and our little restaurant with open arms. We have always been proud to be part of this community, and this day is simply our way of saying:

Thank you. Now it is our turn to give back.

We hope Harbe Nagi Day becomes a tradition for many years to come.

With the Jewish High Holy Days fast approaching we are bringing back our families Rugelach to the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market. We will be taking orders for Rugelach, Macaroons, Bialys, and Apples and Honey Cake with notice please DM us. We will be offering market Apple slices and Honey to EVERYBODY for a sweet New Year! Thunder Mountain Curry will be at our corner of Troy in front of the RPI Student Union TODAY, Wednesday from 11-2:00.

Its going to be a beautiful day to step out and pickup some Thai streetfood. Pad Thai and dumplings cooked just the way you like it.

Thunder Mountain Curry will be out on our corner of Troy in front of the RPI student union this Wednesday 11-2. We need to make the most of these beautiful days. It looks like tomorrow will be a perfect day to get out into the sunshine and pick up some Pad Thai and Dumplings made by Mike as always just the way you like it.

We had a really nice visit with Michael yesterday. He continues to have small improvements, and was moved to Sunnyview for intensive rehabilitation therapy today - a big step towards his recovery. He will have a long road ahead, but is looking forward to getting to work towards gaining more movement and functionality. His outlook is so positive, partially thanks to all of the love and support he’s received the community! Please continue to keep him in your thoughts. He sends his love to all of you!

Saturday at the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market we will be introducing Beef Satay Meatballs simmered in Thai Peanut Sauce as an appetizer or served over fresh Chinese lo mein noodles with fresh Asian slaw.
