It was clear to everyone at Ozzy’s July 5 farewell concert that this wasn’t just another show—it was a final, defiant embrace of everything he’d ever been. He stood there, body worn and frail, but his eyes still burned with that fierce light, letting us know he understood what was coming. He sang every line as if it was both a goodbye and a thank you, holding nothing back, almost as if he knew it would be the last time. Even as his body failed him, that unmistakable Ozzy voice rang out—weathered but still immortal, refusing to be silenced. This wasn’t the end; it was a promise we’d meet again somewhere beyond the music. You can’t kill rock and roll, and you can never truly say goodbye to a legend like Ozzy—he’ll be waiting for us in every song, every memory, and every roar of the crowd.
