Here’s the breakdown (it’s a long but informative video): currently Islet cells are wrongly classified as a drug, not an organ, which complicates the implementation of this potential cure for type one diabetes. All 6 trial participants, yes it’s small sample but progress has to start somewhere, are at this point functionally cured, 100% in range and not insulin dependent …. and the US senate is ignoring the bill to reclassify the cells. RFK could actually just do it, but hasn’t.
