I will have bread for sale at the Bakery at 802 West College St today (Thursday 8/20) from 2-6pm. In addition to our sourdough loaves, I will have cookies, baguettes, flatbread and maybe a few other treats if time permits. Our lobby is closed as we prepare a facelift, so stop by the to-go window and stock your breadbox for the weekend!

Just dropped a big load of bread off at Lucky Dog Farm in Wentzville. Products include country sourdough and seeded multigrain sandwich loaves, potato buns, sourdough baguettes and bread bowls, and a couple cheesy flatbreads. Still working out the details, but I’m planning to have local pick up for bread in Troy one day next week. In the meantime, go check out Lucky Dog Farm and pick up some awesome produce and farm raised meat while you’re there!

Join us for one last service on Cherry Street, Thursday, July 30th from 5-9pm. We’re making smash burgers and sandwiches, and will have some of our bakery and pantry staples for sale. I made a giant chocolate blackberry cake and you can have a cup of coffee and slice on me, because cake helps in times like these. Hi friends, with a heavy heart I must announce that we will be closing Bricklayer Cafe after Friday. There’s a lot of factors in this decision, and I wish I could articulate them here, but suffice to say this is the best decision for me and my family at this time. We will be open Thursday and Friday 7am-2pm, and will have a burger night next week as a final farewell. I will continue making bread at the kitchen on college, with the goal to reopen the retail space there once the dust settles. Thank you all for dining with us and the immense love and support you’ve shown us for the last 2 years 🫶🏼 🍞
