We’re ready for you! You’re in for a treat tonight at the Trout Lake Grange as we prepared a beautiful dinner to enjoy while you listen to local talent show off for Open Mic and support our grange building. We’ll start serving at 6:00. Bring your voice and instrument too!

Hi Friends. This Monday, March 6, 2023 we’ll be gathering at The Trout Lake Grange for this months open mic/pop up Saint Patrick’s festivities in honor of The Irish in many of us. It’s been a long winter and we need a community fix so come out and visit. They’ll be plenty of libations supporting the grange by donations and our menu items are pretty darn good. Bring your talents and smiles.

Fisherman’s Chowder
Our classic delicious chowder with fresh smoked cod and salmon served in a sourdough bread bowl. $15

Shepherd’s Pie
Creamy lamb and root vegetable stew finished with mashed potatoes and served in a sour dough bread bowl. $19

Corned Beef and Cabbage
We brined and finished briskets for this classic Irish plate with organic cabbage, potatoes, carrots and Irish soda bread. $20

Hi Friends. Hope you all had a wonderful turn in the year and are bound for fabulous new adventures to come. It’s been six months since we had to vacate The Inn and leave our old friend. We sure miss seeing and hearing folks and cooking for others. We’ve been catching up on life, planning and preparing and here we are, winter. One of our collaborations has been helping the grange committee raise funds for the maintenance of our local Trout Lake Grange No 210, 2390 Hwy 141, Trout Lake, WA.

This Monday, January 9th is 3rd installment of our Open Mic series with the same great folks from The Inn days running the event, just at the new venue. Doors open at 6:00 pm, Open Mic 6:30-9:00 pm. There will be donation jars out if you would like to help support the Grange.

100% of donations from the delicious beverages will be given to the Grange.

The Trout Lake Country Inn family will present a pop up restaurant during Open Mic.

The menu items are available for take out from the Grange. Cash or local checks only, please.

New England Clam Chowder in a bowl, with home made toasted crostini for $13. Add a side salad for $3, with choice of house dressing, bleu cheese or ranch

Thai Green Coconut Curry Shrimp done up the way we did at The Inn, wildcaught Baja shrimp, in our Thai green coconut curry, with organic baby bok choy, Thai herbs, and thin rice noodles $19

Chicken Makhani-Butter Chicken with succulent morsels of the NW organically raised chicken in a Punjabi style curry with braised vegetables finished with cilantro chutney and served with organic basmati rice and roti $19

Vegan Thai yellow curry with roasted organic squash, cauliflower, green beans, and peas with roti and steamed jasmine rice for $14.

The music, comedy, poetry reading, sing a longs, etc will be provided by our wonderful and talented community and friends from near and far.

Howdy yard sale. 17 Guler Road, Trout Lake little old fun kind of yard sale. Saturday August 20, 10-4 Sunday 10-12. Vintage kitchen gadgets, antiques, fun children toys, tools, ski equipment for little ones starting out and pre teens, too many canning jars, great lamps, guitars, cook books and guide books, old school big-water kayak, newish TVs, tables, other stuff you might want and little things you need to deck your halls.

Hey all! We will be having a tag sale at the Inn this Fathers Days weekend. There’s some really neat things we’ve acquired over the years, but unfortunately we can’t keep it all. Come on by- this is just a few of the things we’ve gotten to so far. Who knows what else will be out as we continue packing.

Good Morning Friends. Although the dinner side of the old building might be out of business, the Post Office Coffee and Bakery is open.

Jessica Kunze and I worked out a subtenancy for her businness early last spring and implanted a remodel of the dilapidated post office throughout the summer. She opened in late summer and weathered the long, cold winter and here she is, making a go of it. Her business remains intact and she’s working her butt off. Jessica does a really good job and makes unique, really clean, delicious pastries. The Inn is off the beaten path and in this business, it’s volume that keeps you alive. I hope you’ll come visit for breakfast or lunch and enjoy coffee and yummies and the beautiful setting.
