Trout Lake Hall Good Times
(1)

06/09/2026

This Fourth of July weekend, we’re celebrating a few things.

America’s 250th birthday.
Trout Lake Hall’s 122nd birthday.
And two nights of music built for dancing.

On Friday, July 3rd, Orquestra Pacifico Tropical brings their explosive blend of psychedelic cumbia, salsa, and Latin rhythms to the Hall. Expect a packed dance floor, big energy, and plenty of “just one more song” moments.

Then on Saturday, July 4th, Countryside Ride takes over with classic country, western swing, h***y tonk heartbreakers, and enough two-stepping fuel to keep the party rolling.

Country and Cumbia. Two nights that celebrate the many sounds that make up the American story.

Come raise a glass to 250 years of America, 122 years of Trout Lake Hall, and a weekend full of Good Times.

Coming this October…

John Moreland at Trout Lake Hall.

Few songwriters can deliver a line that lands quite like Moreland. For more than a decade, he’s been crafting songs that are honest, thoughtful, and deeply human, earning praise from The New York Times, Pitchfork, and NPR along the way.

His latest album, Visitor, finds him reconnecting with the simple things: acoustic instruments and quiet reflection.

Joining him is Georgia Maq, the acclaimed songwriter behind Camp Cope, whose solo work blends vulnerability, wit, and infectious pop instincts.

For fans of Jason Isbell, Gregory Alan Isakov, Joe Pug, and Ruston Kelly.

We've got one more reason to be excited about Hot Damn Scandal.

Joining the bill is James Rossi, whose deep bass voice, timeless songs, and love of overlooked early American music make him a perfect addition to an already wonderfully strange evening.

Then Hot Damn Scandal takes the stage with their signature blend of outlaw ballads, dirty jazz, circus freakouts, shanty-rags, string band funk, and whiskey-soaked singalongs. Somewhere between Tom Waits, a traveling carnival, and a dance hall.

If you like your music a little theatrical, a little ragged around the edges, and a whole lot of fun, this one's for you.

Hot Damn Scandal
with special guest James Rossi

Some songwriters have a way of making the personal feel universal.

We’re excited to welcome Esther Rose back to Trout Lake Hall.

Over the last decade, Esther has become one of the most beloved voices in modern Americana, blending honeyed country songwriting with sharp observations, vulnerability, and just enough punk-rock spirit to keep things interesting. Her new album Want finds her digging even deeper, exploring love, change, recovery, self-discovery, and the complicated business of being human.

For fans of Margo Cilker, Sierra Ferrell, Waxahatchee, MJ Lenderman, and Hurray for the Riff Raff.

Tickets are on sale now for Horse Feathers at Trout Lake Hall.

Twenty years after the release of Words Are Dead, Horse Feathers return to the songs that helped shape the sound of Pacific Northwest indie-folk. The anniversary tour celebrates the landmark debut with a deluxe reissue and a live lineup featuring members of Blind Pilot and River Whyless.

Few bands balance intimacy and orchestral beauty quite like Horse Feathers. Sparse acoustic arrangements bloom into sweeping strings, saw, banjo, and layered harmonies, all anchored by Justin Ringle’s quietly devastating songwriting.

If you’ve spent time with records like House With No Home, Thistled Spring, or Cynic’s New Year, you already know how special this band can be in a listening room setting.
