Meet The Artist!
Four years of BarrieHaus wouldnât look the same without our graphic design artist, Kyle.
From day oneâstarting with the can art for Endless and Big Pluckin Pils back in late 2021âKyle has helped shape the visual identity of BarrieHaus into what you see today. The updated bear head logo, nearly every can on our roster, and even our Tampa taproomâs mural all trace back to his work.
What makes it even more special is how collaborative itâs always been. Even working fully remote from Upstate New Yorkâwhere he lives with his wife, Kt, nestled between the Adirondacks and Lake ChamplainâKyle has had an uncanny ability to capture the essence of BarrieHaus from the very beginning⊠and then push it further with every project.
Together, Kyle and Kt own and operate Old Soul Design Shop, a craft beer bar rooted in community, live music, and a deep love for showcasing local art. When heâs not behind the bar or out walking their three dogs around town, Kyle is behind the scenes designing for BarrieHaus and several other breweries along the East Coast.
From Lousy Lager to our Star Wars drops, the Big Pluckinâ Rooster, Tampa Export Pirate Ship, Oktoberfest, and Tivvy TmavĂ©âeach design tells part of our story. And if you look closely, youâll spot his signature Easter eggs: hidden details, inside jokes, and subtle nods that reward a second (or third) look.
It doesnât stop at the cans eitherâweâve built tees and merch side by side, turning ideas into something you can wear, collect, and recognize instantly.
With over a decade in the craft beer world, a BFA, and a creative process fueled by time outdoorsâdisc golf, downhill mountain biking, skateboardingâKyle draws inspiration from the mountains, the lake, and the communities around him.
