Our main location on Butler st is open however they are doing road work today so it may be a little hard to get here. If you take south clinton to bayard then take the alley on you right after St. Joachim church just before you approach Hudson st you will still be able to get you favorite fresh baked bread and hoagies. Well it’s almost the holiday time of the year. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s are almost here. However, you can prepare early & get the turkey stuffing and breadcrumbs NOW! They go fast so If you wait too long, you might be disappointed. We cut & dry them for weeks so no moisture is left, you add the water when prepping therefore they never go bad. We use only our everyday bread recipe with no spices so you can make it taste the way you like. You know our bread has no preservatives so your base is protected from “junk” in our products. Start now because we will make them everyday until a week before Thanksgiving & Christmas.

Affordability is the new “catch” word for this upcoming election process. However, it brings to mind how affordable a simple sandwich can really be if you like ham & cheese, baloney & cheese, turkey & cheese, roast beef, roast pork, even tomato & cheese all cost around $4-5 on a torpedo roll or Kaiser roll. You can’t eat much cheaper than that with good quality bread, meat & cheeses. We have all the great stuff in our deli on Butler street. Remember the secret to good quality meats, cheese & bread is freshness and that’s what makes our products so good, they sell FAST!! Try us & you won’t be disappointed.

Did you ever think of making a white pie with our pizza dough which is really focaccia? Our pizza dough are always buy one get one free and of course you can freeze one and use one immediately. Our pizza dough will make a 16 inch round focaccia. Focaccia is simply made with no tomato sauce and no mozzarella cheese. You can add mozzarella if you like.  Get an 18 inch solid pizza pan, put oil on the bottom just to coat it. Then when the dough is stretched out to the edges, put more oil on the top. Then add the Italian ingredients: minced or fresh garlic, garlic powder, rosemary, oregano, ground black proper, ground sea salt. Add a little garlic salt if you love salty flavor like I do. Then let the pie sit for about 20 minutes while the oven gets to 400 degrees. If it get bubbles from stretching just poke them with a knife. Bake for 22-25 minutes but not to dark. Take out of oven & cut into any strip that you prefer. Use them like a sponge to mop up your salad seasonings or wipe up your plate. You’ll think you’re in heaven. Good luck.

We all know that great bread is 1/2 of a great sandwich or hoagie! Also we all know that we make the tastiest bread in New Jersey so fill it with your favorite meats to make the very best hoagies for football parties! Also, we are known to have the cheapest prices for our hoagies. Call ahead so you are in & out quickly. We are here 7 days a week for you. Also, add some goodies to make the party even better!! we also use DoorDash and GrubHub for your convenience!

Hers a good tip to help you enjoy your salad, pasta sauce, juice from your fried meats etc. Clean your plate with our bread and you will find another meal that just might be better than the original. I can’t tell you how many times I got scolded by my mother for not eating enough of what she made because the bread with the juices was just as good or better. Especially baked chicken with lemon. Try it you will thank me.

We make our breadcrumbs here with our bread because they are delicious & preservative free! They are plain so you can add your favorite seasonings as you wish. Also, our Hoagie & Donut cards are still active everyday (we heard from some customers that they were inactive). Crazy rumors on Facebook I guess (maybe a jealous competitor, we don’t know) You should know that we are here for you everyday of the year just check in with us, we tell you like it is.
