Today, we brought in an executive BBQ chef to review our processes, challenge our assumptions, and help us identify opportunities to get even better. Our team spent the day taking notes, asking questions, learning new techniques, and gaining hands-on experience.

The goal is simple: serve our guests exceptional BBQ, consistently.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re never satisfied. Every recipe, every process, and every team member has room to improve—and that relentless pursuit of excellence is what drives us every day because our guests deserve nothing less.

The pursuit of better BBQ is never finished.

The dinner bell has officially been rung.

We are BACK OPEN and the smoker is fired up again 🔥🍖

Fresh beef brisket just pulled out of the smoker.. we’re talking 14 hours of slow cooking over hickory and white oak… 🤤 chicken, wings, pulled pork, ribs.. yeah we’ve got them too!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us while we worked behind the scenes to get reopened. We can’t wait to serve you again and show you everything we’ve been working on.

Although the doors at Round House BBQ aren’t open just yet, one table is already reserved this Memorial Day weekend.

We’ve set a Missing Man Table to honor the brave service members who never made it home — those who gave their lives, remain missing, or were held as prisoners of war in service to our country.

As Round House BBQ begins a new chapter as a veteran-owned business, we continue working hard behind the scenes to restore and prepare the restaurant to welcome guests back through our doors. Before any celebrations or reopening announcements, it felt important to first take a moment to remember those who made sacrifices far greater than our own.

This holiday weekend, we remember the fallen, honor their families, and reflect on the freedoms their service helped protect.

We look forward to serving this community again, we’ll see you soon.

Honestly… pretty solid worker so far.
Showed up on time, never wants to take a break, and already patched more walls than half the crew. We did catch him trying to steal a rack of ribs though, but nobody’s perfect. 🤣

Today also felt like a great time for a little Round House update…

As we’ve been working through renovations and rebuilding things behind the scenes, we’ve spent a lot of time talking about what we want Round House BBQ to be moving forward.

One thing our momma always taught us was that trying to do too much usually means nothing gets the attention it deserves.

So we made a tough decision:
We trimmed down the menu.

We know some favorite items may be missing, and we totally understand that not everyone will love every change. But simplifying the menu allows us to focus on what matters most — serving high-quality BBQ consistently.

This next chapter is all about getting back to the basics and doing them really well.

We’re excited to share our new menu with you today, and we’re even more excited for what’s still to come. 🔥

🌴 Tree Update 🌴

We know… we know… the tree had fans. Like, real fans. But don’t worry — nothing tragic here.

After years of loyal service providing ambiance and the occasional “is that real?” debate… our tree has officially retired. Pretty sure he is on a beach or something.

Thanks for loving our leafy legend as much as we did. Now to decide what to do with the space. Thoughts?
