A message from the owners:
We have made the difficult decision to cease Café operations at Press Coffee and Tea. We are both saddened and relieved about the demise of Press Coffee. We enjoyed owning a coffee shop, because it is the business of making people happy, giving them a brief respite from the daily stress of life. We are deeply appreciative of our customers, friends, public officials, and civic leaders who supported us in the effort. We are proud of the product we produced and regretful that we weren't able to make a commercial success of it in this incarnation. We continue to believe that we ran a great little coffee shop that fell victim to market forces and weaknesses it couldn't overcome. Ultimately, we had incredibly loyal customers, but not nearly enough of them.
We are choosing to view this not as an end, but a beginning. Miranda is planning the launch of a new mobile coffee and catering business. We will announce selected "pop-up" events in the near future, at which we will honor gift cards and earned loyalty rewards. Thank you for your support and friendship, and stay tuned for more on the future of the Press Coffee space.
