These heartfelt words leave my lips every single morning while on my knees in prayer! "But when God" decides to take you up on those words it rocks your entire world! Well that's what happened to me yesterday morning! During my prayer and reading time God made me aware that I was to still close the shop on June 1st. I had made plans to stay open until it sold, I have staff scheduled for all next week, I have deliveries scheduled! It doesn't make sense! My daughter is here helping me now Lord, everything is going good my way! What do you mean tomorrow Lord?! 😢But... I can't...I can't do this! It's a business, I don't even know where to start?!

Close The Door! That's what I heard, and that's all I heard! No further instructions or plans. Just that final gut wrenching statement! How do you turn away from that? You don't! How do you argue with that? You don't! How do you even question that when all you have done for the past year is pray for His will not my own?! Those words left my lips again this morning, but first, I took a deep breath and asked for strength for me and my family to carry out his will in my life!

Closing the doors on 5 years of my life, it's a gut punch! Not just for me, but for my son! From start to finish he has been here with me! Through the good times and the bad! He has made as many friends as I have! And we are going to miss every single one of you!!💔 I may have to find some of you here on social media so I don't worry about you and I can still pray for you! Please keep us in your prayers as we navigate this season of our lives🙏🏻

It’s the personal touch that matters most — showing up in person, shaking hands, smiling, and taking the time to say, “Hi, we appreciate you.” In a world that moves so fast and can feel so heavy at times, those moments of genuine connection mean everything.

Today we’re raising a cup (and a taco 😉) to our amazing neighbors at El Barzon!

For over 18 years, they’ve been a staple in our plaza and such a blessing to this community. Their owners are not only incredibly kind, but they truly show up for other small businesses. When they heard a Dunkin was coming to town, they didn’t hesitate—they came right over and offered their support in any way they could. That’s the kind of community spirit that makes this place special. ❤️

We’re so grateful to have neighbors like them who believe in lifting others up!
