Want a job that’s a little different from your typical café gig?

Cherry Country Café & Gift Shop, located inside Cherry Capital Airport, is looking for friendly, dependable people ages 17+ to join our team!

We’re currently hiring for:
☀️ Early Mornings: 5am–1pm
🥪 Mid Days: 8am–4pm
🌙 Afternoons: Noon–9pm-ish, depending on the final flight

💰 $14–$17/hour + TIPS!
Our tip pool averages an additional $6–$12/hour, depending on the season.

That means team members can average $20–$29/hour with tips!

You’ll help us serve thousands of travelers passing through TVC with sandwiches, soups, espresso drinks, snacks, beer, wine & cocktails, plus plenty of Northern Michigan goodies.

A couple airport-life things to know:
✈️ Afternoon staff must be able to stay through the final departing flight — delays happen!
🔐 Because we’re located beyond TSA, you must be able to pass the required federal background check.

It’s fast-paced, it’s definitely never boring, and we’ve got a great crew.

We’ve made it easier.

Our new Grab & Go cooler is stocked daily with fresh-made sandwiches, salads, pastries, snacks, and other ready-to-go favorites. Just grab what you need, use the self-checkout kiosk, and head to your gate.

Okay okay… we know we’ve shared a lot about the renovation lately buuut… we’re proud of it. 😅

Proud of the space we’ve created and even more proud of the people behind it. Huge thank you to our staff, partners, contractors, and everyone at TVC who helped bring this renovation together.

From early morning coffee runs to late night flight delays, we’re grateful to serve travelers and our Northern Michigan community every single day. ✈️🍒☕️
