Spanglish Good Comida The Spanglish Catering Company evolved from our love to cook and work together. I was born and raised in the Northern Michigan woods.
(550)

We met in a small health spa kitchen in the San Fransisco Bay area and were married in 2002. Vicente was raised on a rural coffee farm in Guerro Mexico before moving to Mexico city. Together we spent a year in Puerto Vallarta Mx. We have tasted our way through 11 Mexican states and much of the U.S. Our food is not wet burrito smothered with tasteless yellow cheese. Our food has evolved over ten ye

ars of cooking together, it is bright and flavorful. Our Tamales contain no hydrogenated lard, shortenings or trans fats. Traditional Mexican Food is our starting point but we will bend the rules to make a recipe better. We love to mix in some American ingredients and cooking techniques. We really love what we do and it shows!

We will be closed Saturday August 22. A member of our work family is getting married. đź’ŤCongratulations Krystal and Sam.đź’Ť...

đź’ŤCongratulations Krystal and Sam.đź’Ť
Some of us will be helping to celebrate!

Some of us will be enjoying a very rare Saturday off in August. All of us will appreciate a much needed three day weekend.

Sorry if you were planning on dining with us on that date. We really try not to close, but sometimes it is necessary.

We will reopen Tuesday August 25 at 11am.

We highly recommend this program! It is an amazing way to offer support to your community and reduce the stigma of substance use disorders.

“It’s a labor of love”

I’ll be honest this time of year is heavy on the labor part of that saying. But we truly love it. We would not make the sacrifices we do with our time and energy if we didn’t.

We are well into summer number 13 and are so blessed with an abundance of customers. Nothing is better than a full restaurant and patio. People chatting their dogs tucked under the patio table. The way the apple tree bends and grows over the stream and kids take off their shoes to cool their feet and explore the stream. The shade of the cedar tree over the picnic tables. Cool beverages and tasty food.

All of this made possible by our amazing staff. They show up at 5am to roast meat and sort dry beans. They stay well past close to make sure we have everything set for the next day. They smile and serve customers for hours on end. They leave work with wet shirts and shoes from washing dishes. They stand in front of a hot flat top for 8 hours during the hottest days of the year. They pour endless Iced Coffees and pounds of salsa. They take that extra minute to double check that your takeout order is bagged correctly, and you get everything you ordered. They make magic happen everyday!

We got a couple reviews that made our week. It always feels good to be appreciated. To be seen.

Thank you to our amazing staff that shows up everyday. Thank you to our amazing customers who keep us in business.
