The Cherry Festival may be over, but summer in Traverse City is far from finished. As the crowds begin to slightly thin, downtown settles into one of our favorite times of the season. The energy is still here, but with a little more room to slow down, relax, and enjoy an evening with friends or family.

The final night of the 100th National Cherry Festival is here. The air shows, Milk Carton Regatta, Bed Race, Meijer Festival of Races, parades, and headliner concerts may be behind us, but there’s still one more evening to celebrate.

Enjoy an incredible lineup of local bands, the excitement of Arnold’s Amusements, Gibby’s famous fries, and tonight’s fireworks as we close out a memorable week in downtown Traverse City.

The 100th National Cherry Festival is here! As downtown Traverse City comes alive with the sights, sounds, parades, and celebrations of this historic week, make Sorellina and/or Slate part of your Cherry Festival tradition.

Whether you’re taking a break from the festivities, meeting friends before a concert, or wrapping up a perfect summer day, we’re ready to welcome you with handcrafted cocktails, exceptional service, and chef-inspired cuisine.

In addition to our daily menus, this weekend’s features include:

🍒 Halibut with cherry Picasso sauce, herb roasted potatoes, and seasonal vegetables

🍒 Bone-In Braised Short Rib with cherry BBQ glaze, coleslaw, and smoked cheddar cornbread

🍒 Braciole with parmesan risotto, prosciutto, and fresh micro arugula

Remembrance. Reverence. Memorial Day is a day to reflect upon those who gave all in service to our country and freedoms. 🇺🇸

For many, today also marks the unofficial beginning of summer. And, it appears summer weather may finally be joining us. ☀️ Summer hits differently for each of us. At our locations, we begin easing into extended summer hours. Outdoor seating (where available) becomes a little more lively. College students return home. Seniors graduate and step into new chapters. For many of you, backyard grills are uncovered, boats return to the water, and Northern Michigan begins to hum with summertime energy once again.

As we gather with friends and family, enjoy the sunshine, and welcome the season ahead, may we also pause with gratitude for those whose sacrifice made these moments possible.
