We cannot believe that this needs to be said, but due to a situation this week, we have to speak up. We had a table who thought it was acceptable to inappropriately touch a member of our staff, then make rude and demeaning comments to other staff members. As soon as we were informed of this, we immediately asked the table to leave.

The Cooks’ House has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to interacting with our staff. Verbal abuse, unwanted touching, and any other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated in any form.

We have noticed an unfortunate uptick in other restaurants having to post similar statements in recent months. When you go out to eat, please remember that the people waiting on you and cooking for you are human, not your personal servants; treat them as such.

A big thank you to everyone who came to our annual community dinner this year! We had A LOT of people, but because of everyone's kindness and sense of community, we were able to feed everyone.

We had quite a few serving dishes and pans left by some of you. Please let us know when you would like to drop over and pick yours up.
