We are your Butcher, Baker and Crab Cake Maker! We began this venture in the spring of 2010 offering a full line of Capt’n Chucky’s Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes along with our own seafood selections. Over our many years at the Trappe location, we’ve continued to create new tasty seafood treats and we’ve also layered in a hot food take out menu. Our own menu creations have grown so much beyond the basic C
apt’n Chucky menu items that we’ve layered in the Captain’s Curbside Seafood brand to represent our seafood products, as well as our food truck and the Captain’s Land Lover Cuisine representing our nonseafood treats. When ever you see these logos you know it’s one of our menu items. Since our menu items have grown to be the greater portion of our menu, we identify as The Captain’s Market featuring Capt’n Chucky’s Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. As you’ve learned over the year’s, we’re great at seafood, but also whip up some pretty good land lover choices as well which you can find labeled with our Captain’s Land Lover Cuisine brand. We’ve partnered with many great vendor’s such as The Certified Angus Beef company, Pellman’s Fine Desserts from Lancaster County, Positively Pasta from Pottstown, Pa. What started as a small crab cake boutique has evolved into a wonderful prepared foods market specializing in seafood, but offering a wide variety to satisfy all cravings. Manny, Janice and family can be found serving customers in the Trappe location on any given day. We are constantly working on new recipes, menu items and vendor partnerships and hope to always keep it fresh and exciting as the years pass by. Our mission is simple – we strive every day to serve the highest quality product at the lowest possible price! We love serving people and look forward to meeting new customers every day, while spending time with our regulars who have now become our friends.
